Hello world!

I did it !!!! It’s only taken me 4 years to find that final spark of creativity and perseverance to go from my tiny 2 am idea to creating my little IG account @whatsagirltodrink ,to attaining my level 1 WSET and my American Wines certification. Then this past spring I moved way out of my comfort zone and landed a job as a tasting associate at the cutest little wine shop and tasting room right in my amazing town of Laguna Beach! After an amazing summer of expanding my palate and working my way through tasting many varietals I hadn’t had a chance to experience, I decided it was finally time to take more big steps….acquiring my domain, and building out this website~

I’m so excited to start sharing all of my wine education tips and tricks, products that are necessity and some that are splurge worthy 🙂 Wine doesn’t have to be stuffy and pretentious or intimidating…afterall it is just good grape juice if done correctly haha. Join me as I explore just what exactly is a girl to drink?!
